As you've gathered I'm Cathie and I'm a freelance London portrait photographer and designer that has named her business CathieGraphy.

Firstly I love photographing people so I'm a "portrait photographer". I love the connection that happens when a person sees a photograph of another and smiles at the memories, fragrances, music, laughter .. the 'everything' that comes from looking at a photograph. Sometimes just looking at a person in a photograph can tell you whether you will like them, such is the power of a profile photo or headshot in the business world.

Secondly I'm a designer. I love playing with words, fonts, lines, curves, space and balance when putting together visual communication. Wether for a business card, website, flyer, corporate identity branding and so forth. I started teaching myself graphic design and picked up my first camera to take my own stock photography. My love of photography started there but I never lost my love of design, you can see it within my photography with the balance of elements in a photo.

This is my love, my life and my fun in capturing the history of the future and presenting what we want to say in life with a creative design flair.
